Mr. Gumm has a Bahelor of Science Degree in Agriculture Education, a Minor Degree in Biology and a Masters of Science Degree in Agriculture Education, as well as a Rank 1 for Educational Administration

      Mr. Gumm has been with CKCS for 3 years.

                              Mr. Chad Horn

                      Upper Level Math Teacher

         Mr. Horn has been with CKCS for 3 years.

                         Pastor Garnett Slone

Currently Teaching: Bible, Spanish, Art and English = Grammar and Literature for the High School students.  He also teahces Spanish to the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders.  In the past, he has taught Drama and Puppetry.

He is a retired, ordained minister with the United Methodist Church, having served 25 years.  He has a Masters of Divinity from Asbury Seminary, a Bachelor of Art degree and a Bachelor of Foreign Language (Spanish) Degree from Berea College.

Pastor Slone has been with CKCS for 3 1/2 years.  

                           Mrs. Janice Yeast

                  2nd and 3rd Grade Teacher

     She is a Harrodsburg High School Graduate

and attended Georgetown College.  Also, she has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Kentucky, and a Master's Degree from Eastern Kentucky University.

Miss Yeast also has "Gifted and Talented Certification", is a Lifetime K-8 Kentucky Certified Teacher Rank II for the State of Kentucky, and has some hours toward Kentucky Rank I.  She is a retired teacher, and has been a Professional Development Director for Burgin Independent. In addition, she has also been a private Kindergarten (Lad & Lassie) Director.  Janice Yeast has been an educator all of her life.

     Miss Yeast has been with CKCS for 8 years.
